This is a dental office, not a classroom with a plastic model.
You train in Dr. Owens’ working practice. Real operatories, real instruments, real patients in the chair beside you.
A week at school
Two days a week, and both of them are hands-on.
You learn next to real patients, real instruments and a real team.
Thursday · 3 to 7 PM
Hands-on skills in the operatory
Setups, chairside assisting, instrument passing and infection control, practised until they are second nature.
Friday · 10 AM to 2 PM
Clinicals with real patients
Practice with patients in the chair, take and handle x-rays, and spend time on the front office side.

Do I need any experience?
No. You need a high school diploma or GED, and you need to be 18 or older.
Can I keep my job while I train?
That is why classes are Thursdays 3 to 7 PM and Fridays 10 AM to 2 PM, two days a week for twelve weeks.
Will you help me find a job after?
Yes. The course includes your resume, your cover letter and interview practice, and your externship puts you inside a real general dental office.
Is the program accredited?
Yes, by the Tennessee Higher Education Commission and the TN State Dental Board.
What if I fall behind?
Classes are small on purpose. Tell your instructor early so they can work through it with you.
